Welcome to the Living Library. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Living Library and the website, resources, and membership services provided by The Modern Babaylan™ (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or accessing the Living Library, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Living Library.
1. About the Living Library
The Living Library is a private collection of educational, spiritual, reflective, and experiential resources created or curated by Charmaine. Resources may include written teachings, poetry, meditations, guided practices, audio recordings, videos, workshops, exercises, and other materials.
The Library may evolve over time. We may add, modify, reorganize, or remove resources as the Library develops.
Membership provides access to the resources associated with the membership level you have selected. Access does not guarantee that any particular resource, course, recording, or feature will remain available indefinitely.
2. Membership Accounts
Some Living Library resources require you to create a user account.
You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating your account and to keep your account information up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username, password, and account information. You are also responsible for activity that occurs through your account.
Please do not share your login credentials with others or allow others to use your membership account.

3. Membership Levels
The Living Library may offer different membership levels, including free and paid memberships.
The resources and benefits associated with each membership level will be described on the website at the time you join or upgrade.
We reserve the right to modify membership offerings, benefits, pricing, or available resources in the future. Changes will not affect a paid membership period that has already been purchased except as otherwise permitted by law or these Terms.
4. Paid Memberships and Renewals
If you purchase a paid membership, you agree to pay the applicable membership fee displayed at the time of purchase.
If your membership is set to renew automatically, your membership will renew according to the renewal period and price disclosed at checkout unless you cancel before the next renewal date.
You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method for your membership.
If a payment cannot be processed, access to paid membership resources may be suspended or canceled until the payment issue is resolved.
Current pricing, renewal terms, and any applicable taxes will be displayed during the membership purchase process.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your membership according to the cancellation options provided through your account or by contacting charmaine@charmainecheryle.com.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, cancellation of a recurring membership prevents future renewals but does not necessarily provide a refund for the current membership period.

6. Personal and Educational Use
The Living Library is intended for your personal education, reflection, exploration, and spiritual practice.
Membership access is provided to the individual member who registered for the Library. You may not share, resell, sublicense, distribute, reproduce, or provide access to Library materials to another person without written permission.
7. Intellectual Property
All original content within the Living Library—including but not limited to writings, poems, teachings, illustrations, graphics, audio recordings, videos, meditations, exercises, workbooks, and other materials—is owned by or licensed to The Modern Babaylan™ unless otherwise indicated.
All content is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
Your membership gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use Library content for your own personal use.
You may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, modify, publicly display, publicly perform, record, transmit, or create derivative works from Library materials without prior written permission.
8. Sacred Seeds and Original Writings
The poems and accompanying materials presented through Sacred Seeds are original creative works by Charmaine Cheryle, The Modern Babaylan™.
They are provided for personal reading, reflection, and exploration. They may not be reproduced, republished, distributed, performed, recorded, or used commercially without written permission.
9. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Share your membership credentials with another person.
- Copy, download, reproduce, or redistribute protected Library materials except where expressly permitted.
- Use Library content for commercial purposes without written permission.
- Upload or transmit malicious code or interfere with the operation of the website.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to restricted areas of the website.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms.
